work work work, and Jeffrey! :)

I can't even think about anything but work. End of the year book closing has been a pain in the arse!! Draming work, even.

But Jersey and I did a good thing after our meeting today. Luckily I was STARVING and we pulled on to the frontage road to get a bite, and traffic was stopped. A little Benjy looking dog was standing in the road just WAITING FOR US!!! I got out, and thank GAWD Jersey said "put him in the back!" SO I scooped him up, all matted and such. But a SWEETIE. He did not seem to be used to riding in a car, hence the falling over when we turned. So I got some food, and water for the sweet pea, and on our way. Stopped at an emergency vet and took him inside to see what they would advise. He luckily had a chip implanted, and they scanned it and the poor fella was FAR from home. they tried to call his family, and they did not answer. So off we went to the SPCA downtown.

They were about to close, when they scanned him again. The lady said we don't take strays and we are full. We would have to take him home and call animal control. Moments went by and the lady returned, as I finally got someone at the dog's 'house' on the phone. 'She' was an out of town guest, at the house alone, and did not know if the owners were missing a dog! (JERKS)!!! The story was totally bogus. It has been over 3 hours since I called and left my number, and haven't heard from them. HOWEVER, the SPCA told us that Jeffrey, the dog, was adopted thru them, and that they could take him. The nice lady, who recognized Jeffrey, said she would try to take him home and shave him and get him all cleaned up. So, mission complete. It was a true MITZVAH! He was, just waiting for us to pick him up. Meanwhile, they will keep him for 72 hours, and if not claimed, will find him a new home.

AND the lady on the auto message thing that I am on hold with at our insurance company, has a LISP!

It SUCKS ASS!!!!

Yeah!!!!!!

So, I got up at 6am and immediatley started working from home. Get to work after 8, and can't get in the building. My card won't work. Should have turned right around and gone back home to bed!

Then, get card fixed and go get my hair cut for the photo shoot tomorrow night. Again, should have gone with my gut, and not let that stupid lady cut my hair. Not only was the generation gap an issue, she was foreign and could not understand what I was requesting, she did a suck ass job, and I totally look like a fruitcake!! GRRRRRREAT!

Get back to work to have a pregnant employee call and tell me that her insurance has been cancelled. Have been on hold ever since.

This sucks HARD!

Want BOOZE, and BED! maybe some tv, but at this point, a big cocktail, and a book sound good to me.

OH YEAH, full moon too!

We are having a BABY!

This is very exciting news!

My new job is working me overtime, infact as it is 6 am on Monday morning, and I need to be printing out files to work on now, I am thinking about the baby. What will it look like? How will we hve the energy to keep up with the baby? We are calling it a lizard, since it had a tail...

Alas, I must go get some work done. I will type more later.
